I am working on an example for stream rooms. It's working but needs commenting and polishing so give me a week or two.

Thanks, this is good news. I have already started moving towards run multiple servers on different ports. I will wait for your example

This is still the best way to do it. You will end up with much better multi-core CPU support with separate servers.

I agree, but do 1000 servers for rooms not too good, better run multiple servers according to the objectives(login server and world, battle server and other tasks)
By the way the server does not like to run with the argument-p. More precisely it starts but on a different port. To solve the problem in the file I IgeNode.js in the

main function: function ()
added after this.config = require(this._gamePath + 'ServerConfig.js');
Code: Select all
var argParse = require("node-arguments").process,
args = argParse(process.argv, {separator:'-'});
this.config.port=args['-p'];

Hi.
I'm using the GitHub version and I get
TypeError: Object #<IgeClass> has no method 'streamRoomId'

on server.js

                        var room = new IgeScene2d()
                            .streamRoomId('room1');
                        room
                            .streamMode(1)
                            .compositeStream(true);

Any idea?
