box2d tween

Postby Killersan » Sun Aug 31, 2014 11:49 am

Hello guys,

Do You know how can I tween / move the IgeEntityBox2d object with box2dBody from x1,y1 to x2,y2.
I've been using
Code: Select all
._translate.tween()
.duration(1000)
.stepTo(4,4,1000)

for IgeEntityBox2d entities without box2dBody definition and it works fine, but with box2dBody definition on the object tween is not working anymore.

Any suggestions ?

You should try to avoid moving box2d bodies in that way. Teleported entities will cause problems for the physics engine.
You should move entries using forces and impulses.
I don't work for Irrelon. All comments are my own.
I would strongly encourage anyone building production projects with Isogenic to buy a premium licence, it costs very little and will help towards continued development of the engine. Irrelon have spent thousands of hours developing this wonderful platform with many features found in AAA game engine.

I've changed tween for physics object and use forces instead. Thanks for the clue.
