Where is the best place to learn how to use isogenic

Postby sminogue » Fri Aug 08, 2014 3:11 am

So I am trying to find some decent documentation and tutorials. The only tutorials I am seeing on the site are these 5 videos. I have been poking around in the examples but my understanding of what is going on is pretty limited.

Google searches arent coming up with much for me. If someone could point me in the direction of some good resources to learn about the engine and how to use it I would appreciate it.

Hey, Welcome to the forum.

You're right. There isn't a great deal of formal documentation.
The examples included with the engine are IMO the best form of documentation, the examples and the engine code is all very well documented.

If you are an experienced Javascript developer you should have no trouble learning from the 50+ examples.

If you run into any trouble or have need advice on something specific, please feel free to create a thread here.
I don't work for Irrelon. All comments are my own.
I would strongly encourage anyone building production projects with Isogenic to buy a premium licence, it costs very little and will help towards continued development of the engine. Irrelon have spent thousands of hours developing this wonderful platform with many features found in AAA game engine.

Sorry I couldn't give you the answer you were after.
I learn't everything I know from the code examples and then developing various games with it.
I now like to believe I have quite advanced knowledge of this engine.

I'm currently working on a production game, due to be launched in the autumn.

This is a very advanced game engine with some AAA features you wont find anywhere else.
Good luck with whatever you're building,
