Newbie questino about branches etc.

Hi,

I'm pretty new to HTML5 engines and GIT, as I only have some experience about libGDX, just saw this game engine and this looks pretty advanced, however when I entered the GIT page, I saw many branches, from 1.x to stable/dev/master, each have different commits and the "stable" branch seems to be 2 or 3 years old, the release page have a newer revision that's dated 2015, what branch/rev should I download? Thanks in advance.

BTW, I ran the examples and don't find examples about sound, although the API comes with Audio part, does this engine plays audio/music correctly? Sorry for noob questions but I can't figure these out yet.

Hey ya,

The branch to use is "stable". The engine repository should be the main one not the ige_prototype one:

The last stable release was 6 days ago.

I'll see about putting a quick audio example into the repo for you. I can't remember if the audio component was finished or not as a lot of users used the goldfire audio library instead I think...

Since I just found this used to be a commercial framework, I feel sorry for wasting your time, but thanks a lot for pointing out the right branch to use.

As to sound system, due to my currently limited JS knowledge, I'll try to glue the other audio library together if I know better later.
