Peer to peer (P2P) ie complete serverless connection

Be grateful if anyone has any ideas how engine can be used for p2p connections. Ie after client starts then only wifi used to find and communicate with peer.

You could write your own networking client that extends IgeNetIoComponent.
You'd need to look at that and the other components it uses. IgeNetIoClient and IgeNetIoServer.
You'll need to ensure your component implements the same API as the NetIo components so that it integrates with the engine correctly.

It would be a fair chunk of work but it's definitely do able using WebRTC.
